I put an extra (s) on "My Big Toe" ... I guess I'm running too fast to reach that goal of expanded consciousness, and I just tripped. Can't reach that goal fast enough!

I took some time and read a good part of your first "My Big Toes" books (read it on Google Books. I need to actually purchase a copy, as Google Books has pages missing). I found it quite enjoyable to read, and it gave me a lot more insight to complement your interviews.
I was trying to relate your experience to that from the Yogic teachings on Kundalini, where the experience of expanded consciousness is usually accompanied by bright light rising along the base of the spine until it reaches the crown chakra at your head. After reaching the crown chakra, you can transcend into the expanded consciousness.
From what I've learned about kundalini, many experiencers often face periods of depression and emotional termoil because, either they are overwhelmed by the experience, or they want to re-create it and can't.
From what it sounds, both from the interviews I've heard you give, and from your first book, this isn't your experience at all, which makes me question the idea of Kundalini.
I would be interested in trying out the binaural beat audio-tapes. Would you recommend this method for a newbee learning to meditate as a way to transcend, and where can I pick up a copy?

I first heard you a few months back on Coast To Coast AM with George Norry. Loved your interview so much that I did a Google search on you and found your interview with Nicole on News for the Soul ... that was my introduction to News for the Soul, and I've been a daily fan ever since!
I have played your interview to numerous collegues and had family members all listen as well. It set off a chain of reaction in my own spiritual growth, rekindling the excitement to learn, to listen, to meditate, to love, to share, ... It has been inspiring to everyone I have shared it with.
I'm excited to have the privilege to communicate with you on this wonderful network Nicole set up, and I'm greatful you are a part of it. I would love to learn to communicate telepathically with you - hopefully that will come soon.
